BPE and JE, Mother and Daughter
My mother was a beautiful watercolorist. She loved to paint flowers, traveling to many far-off places to do so; including her own backyard.  I decided to use this painting as a background for one of my collage/assemblage creations; Both of our signatures are included; making this piece a collaboration with my mother after her death.
Watercolor on paper, handmade papers, vintage buttons, milagros, in frame. 17"x13".  2019.

(Untitled) Ceramic Vessel
I had a blast making this piece.  Thank you to Jennifer Shenk from University of Colorado for teaching a coil sculpture class at the Art Students League of Denver.  This piece kind of collapsed while I was making it...a happy mistake.  Clay and slip.  12"x9"x11". 2018.

Lindsay's Mandala
My daughter has collected little toys, charms, lost and found objects, stocking stuffers....for years.  She sent a big big bag to me a couple of years ago and asked me to make a piece of memorabilia art for her.  This is the result, using only a small portion of the bits and pieces.  I imagine I will be making more of these.
Found objects, buttons, charms, art paper, framed.  12"x16".  2018.
